Pipes of Perfection

Performance:
The Yamaha MT 01 on the Staintune in-house dyno managed to achieve a gain of 5 hp over the standard exhaust system. That was measured just with the pipes and no engine modifications, so there is huge scope for more “if you're game!”. On the road test there was a real torque gain especially in the bikes throttle response, once the throttle was twisted it answered which was most apparent through the mid range.

Weight savings:
There is a 2Kg weight saving between standard and the Staintune.

I want to know about the sound:
The sound is a much throatier note, its much louder (but still legal) and its deeper - all round it sounds really sweet.

No Restrictors fitted to Reverse Cones: 92 dba @ 3565 rpm ADR Compliant

Finish:
We have kept the Yamaha Streetfighter outer shells to maintain the look of the bike, however we have designed a specific end cap, reverse cone style to offer something different but still within keeping the bike good looks.

They look and sound great and add torque like its on tap.
