Pipes of Perfection

Performance:
The Yamaha XJR1300 on the Staintune in-house dyno managed to achieve a horsepower gain of 6 Hp over the standard exhaust system. On road test this naked sports tourer really came alive flexing its new muscle and with the Staintunes fitted provided a very snappy throttle and that is just with the pipes and no engine modifications.

Weight savings:
There is a 3Kg weight saving between standard and the Staintune.

I want to know about the sound:
These pipes give a much throatier note - our resident R&D guru said it made him horny!. It just sounds awesome.

Restrictors in: 91.5 dba @ 4000 rpm ADR Compliant - YES its legal
Restrictors out: 96.0 dba @ 4000 rpm

Finish:
Have a look for yourself; they look magnificent on this popular muscle bike. The look of the twin oval mufflers is far superior to that of the standard system and really sets the look of the bike off. The Staintunes will last you for the life of the bike and to keep them like new all you need is a little Staintune Liquid Mirror finish.
