Performance:
On the in-house dyno static gain of 5.3Hp On test ride it was awesome, the feel of the bike and increased ride-ability with a mid range torque gain you can feel and control. Oh and with that Ducati note in the helmet you just want to throttle on. The performance gain makes the bike a pure pleasure to ride, its sharper and crisp to respond.
Add the SFi 1047ST Fuel injection module and gain another 2.5 Hp for that acceleration blast, but really who needs it, its all about being seen and heard isn’t it?
Weight savings:
There is a 1.5Kg weight saving between the standard system and the much more desirable Staintune system, but really who cares about weight when you have that style and that note. Did I say that earlier?
I want to know about the sound?
While the Ducati GT1000 is all about looks and style, it’s also about functionality and performance and lets not forget the whole point to a riding a Ducati, you know the note!! always identifiable and simply superb, come on feel the noise!!
The Sound is simply classic Ducati, its not harsh but deep and sensual, purrrrrfect!!
