Honda CBR1100XX oval cans

Performance:
The Honda CBR 100XX Blackbird is one of Australia’s biggest selling Sports Tourers and almost a cult classic. Staintune has been manufacturing round cans for the Blackbird since it was introduced into Australia, we recently revisited it and have developed a set of oval cans for a different look and style.

On the Dyno in a static position there is a 4 Horsepower gain, however on road test there is a noticeable sharper throttle and a huge leap in mid range performance due to a lift in torque right through the range which just blasts the rideability of the bike, its pure pleasure.

What about the noise:
The twin ovals sound a little deeper compared to the round cans and are fitted with the Staintune removable restrictor system.

Restrictors in: 89 dba @ 4750 rpm
Restrictors out: 92 dba @ 4750 rpm

And once that throttle is opened is has a sensual, deep throaty note; It turns heads!!

Weight savings:
The standard system is cumbersome and heavy at 11.5 Kilos while the Staintune system comes in at a very skinny 4.5 Kilos - a saving of 7 kilos

Finish:
The Staintune system is twin oval mufflers. The finish is a highly polished Stainless Steel.
