Due to an overwhelming number of inquires Staintune has developed a performance header set for the Kawasaki KLR650. The all new header was designed with built in pre muffler for more mid range torque and less noise. We have used a stylish laser cut heat shield to give the system a real custom look. This Performance header can be used with both an existing Staintune muffler & the original Kawasaki muffler for all models dating back to 2000.
Performance: The KLR650 has been given a 6Hp gain over standard. During the on road test the KLR650 had a much more responsive throttle which is most noticeable through the mid-range. Taking the Mild KLR and turning it into a bike that actually excites. I was able to hold a taller gear in most corners relying on the mid rang torque to pull you through the apex. A massive increase in the fun factor!
